Kenya AA is accepted as one of the best coffee beans in the World. All of the various factors such as growing conditions, processing and classification contribute to the natural quality of sought coffee beans.

Although coffee beans were first discovered centuries ago in its neighbourhood Ethiopia, the coffee production in Kenya was started only started at the beginning of the 20th century. Since that time, Kenya was become the 21st largest coffee producer in the world. The industry produces more than 51 million kilograms of coffee each year and employs more than 6 million people.

Most of Kenya coffees are grown in the highlands between Mount Kenya in the north and the city of Nairobi in the southwest. The fertile volcanic soil in this region is very convenient for growing coffee trees. In addition, 1.700 meters high altitude, warm climate and excellent amount of rainfall are one of the factors contributing to ideal growing conditions.

Kenya coffee is wet processed. The coffee fruit is left to the sun drying with dry processing. After drying, the shell is removed, and the coffee is processed. In case of wet processing, the fruit is removed before drying. Two processes have a great effect on the general taste of the coffee.

Kenya coffee classification system is very prestigious in the World. The coffee fruit is graded while it is still green and a total of eight possible classes are available. Kenya AA coffee beans is the best of all available and each coffee bean should meet the requirements of its class.

The meticulous grading system used by Kenyan coffee producers means almost all Kenya AA coffees will have similar taste characteristics. Kenya AA coffee beans have light body, bright mouth and intense floral taste. Finally, Kenya AA comes to the forefront with its strong acidity. Its unique taste, intense aroma and having different aromatic oil acids makes Kenya AA coffee unique.
