Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is known for its medium trunk, sweet taste and aroma. Ethiopia known as the homeland of coffee is among the places where the best coffees in the world are produced, with its extraordinary genetic diversity and shown among the best quality Arabica coffee beans in the World.

Yirgacheffe coffee is a wet-processed (washed) coffee grown at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,200 meters above sea level. Thanks to its high altitude, growing of the coffees slowly and carrying off the nutriments to the coffee by the tree offers us a wonderful aromatic coffee experience.

The most appropriate areas to grow coffee in Ethiopia, mostly in the south and southwest regions of the country. These are places such as Yirgacheffe, Limu and Sidamo. The unique aroma and intensity of washed coffees grown in mountainous terrain is ideal for coffee lovers.

Except this, rising temperatures in recent years, erosion threats, increasing of pests and price fluctuations in the coffee market has put the coffee industry in Ethiopia into a difficult process. The Ethiopian Government began to take serious measures against them. Moreover, it has launched an aggressive tree planting initiative in 2020 with 5 billion planting objectives.
